Are You Dreaming of Soaring Through the Skies?

Ardmore Flying School has been dedicated to training world-class pilots since 1961. With over six decades of experience, we have earned a reputation as one of the leading flight training organisations globally. Boasting a legacy of excellence, we take pride in having trained over 22,000 pilots who now soar the skies across the globe.

Ardmore Flying School is also home of New Zealand’s largest Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) training centre; we offer unparalleled resources for trainee pilots. Our fleet is comprised of Diamond DA-42 aircraft and Cessna 172SP aircraft equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics, enabling students to master the intricacies of modern flight navigation systems. These aircraft are supplemented by our state-of-the-art flight simulators. Our Cessna 172, Diamond DA-42, and Airbus A320 simulators provide our students with a realistic and immersive learning environment enhancing their capability and success, and setting them up with the required tools for long and safe careers within the industry.

Ardmore Flying School prides itself on the expertise of its instructors, A, B, and C-Category Flight Instructors, and retired airline pilots who bring invaluable real-world experience to the training curriculum. Our Multi Crew Integration Course, led by our airline training team, ensures that our graduates are well-prepared for the demands of advanced airline operations.

Recognized for our commitment to excellence, Ardmore Flying School is approved by both the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority and the Vietnamese Civil Aviation Authority (CAAV). We are honoured to be a training partner of Vietnam Airlines, further cementing our position as a trusted provider of aviation education and training.
